This website aims to provide parents and athletes with information about Little Athletics and the activities of the Dapto Centre. Through this it is our hope that you will have a better understanding of all aspects of the Centre. Little Athletics is a family sport - everyone should be involved. Our aim is to encourage children to participate in sport and improve themselves, within their own abilities, whilst creating friendships. Children love to run, jump, throw things and have a good time with their friends! At Little A's the emphasis is on fun and participation. It is also a great way to develop basic skills in running, jumping and throwing, for children who wish to go on to compete in Athletics.

Our Centre is based at Dapto High School.  We have excellent facilities and well maintained equipment.  Our season will commence Saturday 10th September 2022 and finishes Thursday 23rd March 2023. Our weekly competition is held on Saturday afternoons for September and October, and then moves to a Thursday evening for November to March.

To register at our Centre, our youngest athletes need to be at least 3 years old, and our oldest Athletes must be born in 2006.  For a list of events conducted at our weekly competition, click on the "weekly program" tab at the top of this page. Our very young athletes do the traditional track and field events as well as some novelty events at our weekly competition.
